Photos of Coop Christmas Party

I've been somewhat busy since the party and haven't gotten around to creating the Coop Christmas Party Movie.  But I did promise some photos and videos, and one of these days I'll have it ready.  Meanwhile, Desert Oasis Woman just posted this on the Big Green Egg Forum.  It truly reflects the good time we all had.  Take a look...

Less Than A Week Before The Party

If you're an Egghead and you live on this planet and you have some slack in your schedule next Saturday, December 18th,  don't forget to stop by the Chicken Ranch for the Coop Christmas Party.

No, you don't have to bring anything, and no, you don't really have to be an Egghead.

There will be food and drink, and probably a few people you know, I think.  There will be music and light, from afternoon to well into the night.

So, if only an hour you have to spare, and wish to say hello, stop by and share that hour with friends you know.

We're located at 510 Moggy Ct., Spring TX 77388.  (That's south of The Woodlands and North of FM 1960 on I-45.  Go west on Cypresswood Drive to the second stop sign, turn right on Teller Bouvelard, then north six streets to Moggy Court.  We'll be the house with the sign.  281 353-7961 if you get lost.

Oh, and if you want to cook something in the Coop, you can do that too.

Hope to see you on the 18th.

Coop Christmas Party Check - 1:00 AM

It's 1:00 AM.  Got up to make sure the Coop Christmas Party was still on.

Yes!

No hurricanes about to hit.  No Christmas Tree light blackouts.  No road-blocking blizzards.  No floods.  No Famine.  No shortage of lump.  In fact, there's nothing to stop us now.

So I guess we'll be seeing y'all sometime on the 18th.

For those of you looking to stay in a hotel, Comfort Suites is close by and reportedly very comfortable.

There are others if you are inclined toward different brand names.

If you are driving from the south, take I-45 North to the Cypresswood Drive exit, go west to the second stop sign, turn right onto Teller Blvd, then we're the 6th street on the left (cul-de-sac).  Probably best to park on Teller Blvd and hike the rest of the way (200 ft).

If you are driving from the north, take the Louetta Rd, Cypresswood Drive exit, stay on the service rd to Cypresswood Dr, go west to the second stop sign,  turn right onto Teller Blvd, then we're the 6th street on the left (cu-lde-sac).  Probably best to park on Teller Blvd and hike the rest of the way (200 ft).

If you are driving from the west, you probably have a GPS system that doesn't lie to you like mine and can get you within a few hundred feet of us.

If you get lost, call but don't ask for me... I'll be into the rum a bit and I might get you even loster.

Here's a map if that helps.

See y'all on the 18th.

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas At The Coop

Yes, excitement is in the air along with Christmas music, colored lights and the smell of fresh cut cedar here at the Chicken Ranch.  A few final remodeling touches, some more lights to string and we will be ready for the Coop Christmas Party.

If you haven't made plans to come, try harder to find a couple of hours in your busy schedule.  It will be fun.  Then you can finish up shopping, decorating or packing for a trip.

We're near I-45 and Cypresswood Drive, north of downtown but south of The Woodlands.
